NPP Presidential Candidate Nana Akufo Addo

Another member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been murdered in cold blood apparently as a result of the on-going factional feud within the party.

Some reports say that this gentleman was killed in Kumasi following an internal party dispute over the continued chairmanship of Paul Afoko.

So far this brings the number of the dead as a result of the conflict to two.

 Other members of the party have had their vehicles destroyed or vandalized in the process and several others have been threatened or beaten.

What is happening within the NPP must be completely shocking.

If NPP members can do this to themselves then what will they not do to their opponents?

The Insight has already asked the state security apparatus to take steps to dismantle all the illegal instruments of violence in the NPP to prevent more mayhem.

We insist on this because it may soon be too late to curb the growing violence in the party.
