THE SNAKE, BIBLE AND CHRIST
That
Bishop Obinim claims to sometimes change into a snake to bite his opponents or
those who criticize him to death reveals what the church industry has really
become.
It
perhaps signals that the church of our youth has undergone such drastic changes
as to make good evil and evil very good.
In
the days of our youth, we were made to believe that priests were full of
compassion and help humankind to achieve holiness so that all of us who
accepted the ways prescribed in the Holy Bible will ascend into the heavens.
Now
the Obinims by their own confession have become murderers who claim that they
kill and maim those who dare and to challenge their cock and bull stories.
It
is possible that Obinim has not read the first book of the Bible and if he has
then he could not comprehend what is written in the third chapter of that book.
It was in this book that the story of creation
is told in bold relief. This is where we are told of a beautiful and perfect
garden where the first two humans, Adam and his wife Eve stayed and played
around.
Everything
we are told was in the garden, even though we know that some living organism
came into existence only recently.
The
snake was also there from the very beginning and became the very first creature
to disobey the Creator and to instigate rebellion against the Almighty.
Jesus,
who Christians claim is the son of God ought to know how his own father felt
about this disobedience and if Obinim can forget the anger of God, Jesus can’t.
And
Jesus must surely remember his father, saying “because you have done this, you
are cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon your
belly shall you go, and dust shall you eat all the days of your life.
“And
I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between you and your seed and
her seed; he shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel!!
So
Obinim decided to change into the most cursed creation of God whiles still claiming to be doing God’s work
and for his company he chose the only begotten son of God to sneak into
people’s homes and to beat them to death.
What
a Bishop?
And
could Jesus really be in his company?
