ETHNIC POLITICS?

Bugri Naabu, NPP Northern Regional Chairman
By Ekow Mensah
When President John Dramani Mahama describes himself as a Northerner, he is quickly torn apart by opposition spokespersons who see reference to one’s origin as nothing less than ethnic politics.

However the same opposition elements keep their lips tightly closed when their leaders openly incite ethnic hatred against the President and his government.

Listen to Mr Daniel Bugri Naabu, Northern Regional Chairman of the largest opposition Party, and the New Patriotic Party (NPP);

He says “I wondered why the John Mahama led NDC administration has not found any of the seven Konkomba NDC members of Parliament worthy of occupying any position in the Government. Even not a Zoomlion post has been given to a Konkomba NDC MP”.

The Daily Guide of Monday, 7th December 2015 quotes Mr Bugri –Naabu as lamenting that although Konkombas have over the years been loyal to the NDC, there is nothing to show for it.

 He said under the NPP administration, Charles Bintim, a Konkomba, was appointed as Minister for local Government and Rural Development and on the basis of that he urged Konkombas to vote for the NPPs Presidential candidate Nana Akufo Addo.

WHAT A CLAIM?
“The Lord is a jealous God, filled with vengeance and wrath.

He takes revenge on all who oppose him and furiously destroys his enemies! The Lord is slow to anger, but his power is great and he never let the guilty go unpunished” –Nahum 1:2-3

What would you say about a leader who has the attributes of the Lord?

 Please think about it!
